Review: The Maze Runner

The Maze Runner is a very good scientific fiction. During the story, the author explained the emotions of charaters in detail which made story really interesting.

SUMMARY:

The Maze Runner is mainly about escaping a maze created by scientists by finding out clues.

The story starts with the silhouette of Thomas's, the main character's, memories.Thomas wakes up in the metal box with no memories of who he is. He only knew that his name was Thomas. There were other teenage boys who made society in the maze. They were living on a type of farm surrounded by very high walls. That place was called the Glade. The outside of the glade was really dangerous which was full of traps and monsters and complexed with the Maze. Supplies came by the elevator everyweek, and Thomas learned that there are monsters named as Grievers in the outside of the glade. Thomas meets the Gladers, and a week after he comes, a girl shows up in the elevator. That was the first time that a girl was brought up to the Glade. The Gladers find out that Thomas and the girl, Theresa, had a connection with whoever put them all into this maze. Thomas decided to beome a Runner who would contribute in trying to solve the secrets of the Maze and find the exit with MinHo and many other Runners of the Glade.

At the end of the story, they found out the earth was in chaos, and that there were a group of scientists who put them into the Maze for their experiment to find a cure for the virus that caused the chaos.
